Union E3 is organizing The “Silicon Valley Comes to Barcelona” , an event designed to bring together and inspire students, entrepreneurs, and investors from Spain and Silicon Valley.
Speakers will discuss the differences between Silicon Valley and Barcelona, and by extension Europe and the United States, in terms of entrepreneurship. Some of the issues discussed will be what makes Silicon Valley so special and how we can create such a powerful startup ecosystem in Barcelona and in Spain by fostering entrepreneurship and networking.
The “Silicon Valley Comes to Barcelona“ will take place in Barcelona Activa on the 24th of February of 2012 between 4pm-9pm.
A list of speakers as well as partners, Spanish and Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, investors and other knowledgeable people will be present during this event. For more information you can have a look at the agenda and register through Union E3 Web site.
What is Union E3-”Unión de Estudiantes Emprendedores de España”?
Union E3 is a non profit organization in Spain that aims to empower entrepreneurial culture on a student level within the Spanish universities. They do that by uniting the entrepreneurial societies and student entrepreneurs from universities all over Spain, to form a powerful community where student entrepreneurs can grow, collaborate, exchange tools and inspire each other. They welcome organization such as accelerators, venture capital, technology parks and incubators to become our partners in facilitating entrepreneurship.
The young entrepreneurs of today could be the leaders of tomorrow!
Should you be interested in joining the event, register here before the tickets are gone! The event is free, to give the opportunity to everyone to join. However if you can afford to pay 1€ or more and you think it’s worth supporting the entrepreneurial youth, and the Non-Profit organization of E3 Union that made possible this event , you are encouraged to give. A 20€ fee is recommended, but any amount would be greatly appreciated.
