Let’s hear from them about this great event:
“On the occasion of the Mobile World Congress, Laurent Lathieyre , Co-founder & CEO of Capptain and Jeff Coe one of Europe’s top 100 most influential technology experts will be in Barcelona to share their experiences in the mobile sector with our group.
Laurent is a successful internet entrepreneur based in France. He was co-founder of Wcube, one of the first web agencies in France in 1995, which has acquired in 1999 by Framfab, a leading Swedish Group.
Following Wcube’s acquisition, Laurent has had several other ventures, his latest being Capptain in 2008. Laurent will share his entrepreneur’s journey and his experience in the field of software, mobile, customer acquisition and running a lean start up.
Jeff Coe will present : Mobile and the PC Convergence - A phenomenon discussed at every conference form 2001 to 2011 but now mentioned less and less.
Why? Is it because it’s already happened? Have mobile phones (wireless) and the PC (internet) truly converged and it’s no longer relevant to talk about?
If so, what effect has this had on the industry as a whole and the verticals playing into these spaces?
Jeff Coe, both an entrepreneur and investor, will give his opinion on convergence and, using his own experiences, will paint a picture of how he sees the current environment and what new opportunities are emerging from this.
